Dmexco, the international leading exposition and conference for the digital economy, launches “The River of News” an exclusive online content hub created by their media partner, Mynewsdesk, the world’s leading provider of online newsroom technology.
This partnership will for the first time enable thought leaders in the marketing, media and technology industries to share their stories and expert opinion in real time on the dmexco website, as well as on their own online newsrooms, in the run up and duration of the event taking place on the 10th and 11th September in Cologne.
Mynewsdesk has built “The River of News” especially for dmexco 2014 and have exclusively offered their 800 exhibitors the chance to have their own online newsrooms. As their content will be streamed onto screens around the venue in real time, this will allow exhibitors to better communicate their stories to the 30,000 trade visitors expected to attend the exhibition and conference - as well as to the media and key stakeholders.
Peter Ingman, CEO of Mynewsdesk, said, “We designed "The “River of News” to help dmexco create a buzz leading up to the event. Some of the world’s leading experts have already started to share their stories and spark up conversations around the key issues and trends affecting the digital industries in anticipation of the event itself.
What's more, through their online newsrooms - which can be hosted on their own company website - the communications teams at each organisation can share their content to their social media channels, email it to their distribution lists and publish it on their websites, as well as submit it to the “River of News” at the click of a button. This ensures their messages reach various target audiences as efficiently as possible and helps spread the conversations from dmexco 2014 across multiple platforms and as widely as possible.
Jürgen M. Kopelke, Managing Director of Mynewsdesk Germany said, “Dmexco is world renowned for providing a platform from which thought leaders in digital branding, advertising, and marketing can exchange their knowledge, expertise and innovations. “The River of News” will add a new dimension to this by helping to make dmexco 2014 a more inclusive experience for all of those attending and exhibiting. For the first time, exhibiting organisations have the chance to share their own stories and join in the conversations which will stem from the 470 speakers presenting at the conference. Trade visitors will be surrounded by these stories as they are streamed onto screens around the venue and visitors to the dmexco website can dip in and out of the content which interests them most, enhancing their conference experience.”
