STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- MyNewsdesk, the rapidly expanding Stockholm-based online PR and news service, recently entered into a collaboration agreement with Open Communications, a strategic communications agency that helps Nordic companies to grow internationally. The purpose of the collaboration is to strengthen the company’s brand image and develop its presence in new markets.
“Deciding factors in our choice of Open were their international experience in helping Scandinavian companies, their knowledge of the PR business and strategic communications as well as their insight into our customers needs,” says Charlotte Ulvros, Marketing Director at MyNewsdesk.
The assignment includes the development of a strategic communications platform and positioning for the company’s international launch period. This work is already under way and MyNewsdesk will open its Norwegian office on April 1. Several other international establishments are anticipated during the second half of the year in the Nordic region and UK.
“We’re thrilled and honoured that MyNewsdesk has selected us. They’re a very ambitious group who have demonstrated considerable growth in recent years – and they’re genuinely committed to driving change in a relatively conservative business. We see tremendous potential in their business concept and believe that Open is an ideal partner to help build their brand across borders,” says David Gray, CEO and founder of Open Communications.
